Easter Classes

remember to click on the picture to see it full size.

I am running Easter classes this month.  I have used the items that I am selling in the Box of Fun to create a couple of small gift ideas and a card.

The classes will be held at my house on:
Wednesday 17 March 10am - midday
Thursday 18 March 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Sunday 21 March 2pm - 4pm

The cost of these classes is $28 but if you buy any version of the March Box of Fun the class will be for free.

I do ask that you pay a deposit of at least $6 on reserving a place in the class.  I do provide any Stampin' Dimensionals, Sticky strip, glue dots that are required but I do not provide basic glue or a tape runner.  Please bring your own favourite adhesive for gluing card or paper together.

Please contact me by Monday 15 March if you are interested in taking this class or click on the Buy Now button to pay the $28 & reserve your seat today.

Haiti Relief Update

As you know Stampin' Up! has had a promotion on the I {heart} Hearts stamp set, where for each set sold Stampin' Up! donated $2 to the Red Cross Haiti Reflief Fund.  This promotion finished on February 28 but I thought you all would like to know how much money was donated.

Worldwide 13,587 stamp sets were sold.  From each of those sales, Stampin′ Up! will donate $2 to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. That’s over $27,000 (US) donated to people who desperately need your help. Congratulations!

Mojo Monday 126 - Easter Wishes

Mojo Monday is a blog where each week a new sketch is released.  I have tried to play along before but I got out of the habit of it & I want to start doing it again.  This week's sketch was this.

I decided that it is about time to start thinking about Easter.  Ash Wednesday was just this past Wednesday so there is less than 40 days to go until Easter.

I want to let you into a secret, I don't own any Easter stamps,....yet!  The phrase is from the Occasional Greetings stamp set.  The cute little chick was the only Easter'ish stamp I could find & it comes from the Pun Fun stamp set.  I used the Tea party DSP for my patterned paper.

So this is my take of the sketch:

By the way, I have decided to bite the bullet & buy a new stamp, just one, for Easter, an adorable Chocolate Bunny stamp that is in the current summer mini catalogue.  I can't wait to see how chocolatey it can look.

Sweet Treat Cup Card

I created this card using the sweet treat cup that is available through the summer mini catalogue.  I love the fact that it can hold goodies, in this case some M&Ms.  The full details of how to create this card is found on my Stampin' Up! website here

All these items can be purchased from me, including the 5/16" brads which were in the spring mini catalogue, they have been rolled over to the summer mini catalogue.

If you would like to purchase these items or if you would like to book a workshop where I can show you how to use the Sweet Treat cups please contact me.

February Newsletter

FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER
February is here which means my children are back at school & now I can start concentrating on business rather than being the referee in brotherly disputes.  I haven't had time to create a class for this month, but that doesn't mean that you can't buy any supplies or product.  In fact now is a great time to buy product because if you spend $120 you get your choice of one of 4 stamp sets, free!

I have signed up through Paypal to be able to accept credit card payments so if handing over cash or even sending a cheque is not how you operate these days I am now able to take your credit cards.  Look for Buy Now buttons on both my website www.katscraps.com or in any emails I send you.

Haiti Relief Fund

click the image to see it larger.

Just as Stampin' Up! helped raise funds for victims of the Bushfires last year, they are now raising funds for disaster relief in Haiti.

You can help make a difference in the lives of those that continue to suffer from the effects of the devasting earthquake that struck Haiti on 12 January. From now until 28 February 2010, Stampin' Up! will set aside $2 from the sale of every I {heart} Hearts stamp set & donate it to the Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund.

This stamp set is perfect for this time of year with Valentine's Day coming up.  Even better is there are two different punches that can be used with that stamp set, the Full Heart punch & the Heart to Heart punch.

The even better news is that if you purchase both those punches plus the I {heart} Hearts stamp set your order comes to the magical figure of slightly over the $120 mark.  If you spend $120 from Monday 25 January until 31 March 2010 you will get a free stamp set of your choice from the Sale - A - Bration catalogue.  It's a win/win situation.  Money goes towards disaster relief & you get the benefit of a free stamp set.
